This paper includes the efficacy of synthesis and characterization a new liquid laser dye material – chalcone 1-(4-methylsulfonyl phenyl)-3-(4-N,N-dimethyl (amino phenyl)-2-propen-1-one (MSPPP) its application as medium. The absorption fluorescence spectra MSPPP were investigated under different solvents concentrations. study pump pulse energies Nd: YAG (355 nm) amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) performance various concentrations, organic solvents. At identical conditions, in solution compared with conventional coumarin 503. quantum yield gain determined. features are: (I) has stellar photochemical stabilization., (II) ASE from was setting wavelength range between 515 548 nm. molecular geometry optimized their HOMO– LUMO energy values determined by SCM Software for Chemistry & Materials using DFTB (GGA BLYP) [Density-Functional based Tight-Binding] method.
